Horse Care

Weather you are away or not able to get to the barn every day, you can rest assured your horse will be taken care of. Horse care includes a visit to your barn to provide your horse with basic care and extra TLC. Let me work around your schedule and fill in when you are not able to make it out to the stable. Horse sitting is also a great service to take advantage of if you would like your horse already lunged or exercised before you ride. By your horse being handled on the ground previous to riding you will have a horse with a well behaved and "ready to go" attitude. Your horse will have my undivided attention and be provided with adequate care such as grooming, exercising and feeding at each visit. Hand walking is also offered to horses that are lame as well as first aid care if needed. Every horse has his or her individual needs that will be tended to.

Exercising (Riding)
Exercising sessions are a great option for horse owners that cannot make it to the barn all the time but desire for their horse to remain in a consistent exercise schedule. It is so important to maintain a weekly riding routine to prevent falling behind and having to catch up. I strongly discourage sponsoring horses out because of the risk of your horse picking up bad habits and vices. An experienced rider should always be the person working with your horse. This ensures proper communication and skills are being utilized between horse and rider.

Hourly Rates:
$25.00 per hour ride

Monthly Rates:
$250.00 per month (three one hour rides per week)
​
All Exercise sessions include other services requested such as gaining, blanketing, etc.

Horse Care Package (Turn out/Lunging)
A Horse Care Package Includes:

Turn out for 1/2 hour or lunging for 20 minutes or hand walking for 20 minutes

Feeding/supplementing

Fly spray if requested

Blanketing if requested

Administering medication and basic first aid care (cleaning wounds, bandaging, etc) if requested
Rate: $25.00 Per visit
Monthly Rate: $225.00 per month (three visits per month)
